Our Continued COVID 19 Procedures ~ Updated
Hey Trinkets Fans,
Although we still are facing times of uncertainty, please be rest assured that I am taking every step to ensure that you are not only given the best customer service experience, you will also feel safe and at ease while visiting Trinkets Gift Shoppe. . Part of that promise is transparency so I want to be upfront with all the extra steps that we are taking in the shoppe during opening hours and behind the scenes. Since our last blog post there have been a few changes to procedures.
When you arrive at the shoppe you will find a bottle of hand sanitizer at the door. Please use it. As much as we clean and sanitize the products throughout the day it certainly doesn't hurt to take that extra step. Please wear a face mask. Face masks are now MANDATORY. Nose, mouth and chin should be covered. Face shields will NOT be acceptable. If you are not able to wear a face mask due to health reasons, anxiety etc, curbside pick up and free local delivery is available. If your coming into the shoppe (without a face mask) to purchase a face mask, I will ask that you wait outside until all other clients have left before you come inside. Everyone's health and safety needs to be taken into consideration. I am more than happy to assist you, please be patient as we work together through this.
While in the Shoppe please browse and look just as you normally would. You will notice that the racks and shelving are all spaced out to help ensure social distancing and helpful reminders are posted throughout the store. Feel free to touch items you are interested in for closer inspection. During the day I am constantly cleaning and sanitizing shelves, racks and items. All jewellery or sunglasses that get tried on, and not purchased, are set aside and sanitized before going back out for sale.
My change rooms are now open, however only one change room can be used at a time to ensure social distancing. After each client the change rooms are sanitized, the chair and curtain are steamed. Any items that are not purchased are quarantined for 24 hours and then steamed before returning to the floor to be sold.
At the check out desk you will find another bottle of hand sanitizer please feel free to help yourself. Only one client can be at the check out desk at a time. After each client the desk and debit/credit machine is sanitized. Cash transactions are accepted. Should any returns come back to the store they are quarantined for 72 hours, then steamed before returning to stock. Our return policy remains the same. Any items returned must be in NEW condition, and still have the tags attached, along with the receipt. Exchanges or credit note only. No refunds.
Behind the scenes I am washing the floors everyday as well as the racks of clothing are all steam fogged and tops of hangers are wiped down with disinfectant everyday. Yes, this is a lot of work, time, energy and money... but quite simply... YOU ARE WORTH IT!!
